KOMPAS POLITIKO website

Emiel van Wegen has being involved with the social and political life of Curacao for quite some time. At the end of 2009 he came up with the initiative to create a politically independent website that would, in a certain extent, "assist" the citizens of the island in making the right decision on casting their vote at the upcoming elections.
The website was built around a 25 statement set, in a form of a multiple choice test and resulted to a possible voting choice for the January elections. Of course additional research was recommended to the visitors but it overall managed to serve its purpose.
I was asked to work on the visual identity of the website (logo, overall website design) and though the initially demos had a more complex design, we decided to go for a more simplified version, where buttons functioned as buttons and navigation was accessible to even the most interactively inexperienced visitor. The web development was done again by Bananiotis and the survey by Emiel van Wegen himself and an external company specialized on the field.

The elections took place this month and though the test had to be removed, the website remains active.
